The hosts then chased down the total in just 10.1 overs with ease. The second match saw the Black Caps again gaining an upper hand, winning by five wickets in a rain-affected clash.
In a bold move, Pakistan dropped star players Babar Azam and Mohammad Rizwan but their revamped batting unit failed to fire. Their bowling unit has also struggled to contain the opposition, leaving them in a do-or-die scenario for the upcoming contest.
