Missing Overseas Stars and Their Replacements

Punjab Kings will be without Marco Jansen, who has returned home to prepare for the WTC Final against Australia. PBKS have not announced an official replacement, but Azmatullah Omarzai is expected to step up to fill the all-rounder’s role in the playing XI.

Royal Challengers Bengaluru will miss Jacob Bethell and Lungi Ngidi. Bethell has left to join England’s ODI squad for the upcoming series against the West Indies, while Ngidi has returned to South Africa to prepare for the WTC Final. Tim Seifert and Blessing Muzarabani have been named as their replacements in the RCB squad.
