Match 13 of the Pakistan Super League (PSL 2025) featured a controversial incident between the Multan Sultans and Islamabad United. Colin Munro accused Iftikar Ahmed of chucking while he was bowling.

The incident occurred during the 10th over when Islamabad United was in a strong position to win, scoring at a rapid pace. After giving the ball to Iftikhar Ahmed, Mohammad Rizwan watched as Ahmed bowled a series of tight yorkers aimed at the stumps against both Andries Gous and Colin Munro.

During the fourth ball of the over, Munro defended a delivery aimed at his stumps but then complained to the umpire about Iftikar Ahmed's bowling action. This sparked a discussion between the bowler, the umpire, and Munro, creating a scene at Multan Stadium.

In the end, however, it was Iftikar Ahmed who had the last laugh, as Munro was dismissed in the field, and Ahmed gave him a dismissive look as he left.

Islamabad United won the match comfortably by seven wickets, marking their fifth consecutive victory in the tournament. Andries Gous was named Player of the Match for his impressive score of 80 runs off 45 balls. This defeat was a tough one for the Multan Sultans, especially playing at home.

Islamabad United's Unique Record:

Islamabad United became the first team in the PSL to achieve ten consecutive wins. They had previously won five matches in a row during the last season, including the final, and their winning streak continues this season. Additionally, their captain, Shadab Khan, became the first spinner to claim 100 wickets in PSL history, helping Islamabad United rewrite the record books in their game against Multan Sultans.
