The lead Indian pace attack for the Lucknow Super Giants, consisting of Mayank Yadav, Avesh Khan, and Mohsin Khan, is yet to receive their clearance certificate from the National Cricket Academy (NCA) in Bengaluru.

This situation poses a significant setback for the Lucknow Super Giants, who had structured their bowling line-up around this trio. Mayank Yadav and Mohsin Khan have been LSG’s best Indian fast bowlers over the past three years, and Avesh Khan was once again selected during the recent auction.

The pace trio was expected to spearhead the bowling attack, but their injuries have left LSG in a challenging position at the start of the IPL season.

Mayank Yadav is recovering from a stress fracture in his back, Avesh Khan from a knee cartilage injury, and Mohsin Khan has an unspecified injury. All three players are currently in the recovery phase. According to reports, the clearance certificates may be further delayed, which could result in them missing at least one to two games at the beginning of the season.
