Defending champions MI Cape Town are all set to kick off the SA 20 2025-26 season as they take on Durban Super Giants in the first match of the new season.
The schedule for the fourth season of the SA20 has been announced. It will be played from December 26 2025-January 25, 2026. The month-long tournament will see T20 fever taking over the rainbow country by storm.
MI Cape Town are the defending champions of the tournament after winning last year's final under the leadership of Rashid Khan. They defeated the Eastern Cape side led by Aiden Markram by 76 runs in the final.

Complete Schedule Of SA20 2025-26
Saturday, 27 December marks the first double-header of Season 4, with Centurion hosting the match between Pretoria Capitals and Joburg Super Kings while Paarl Royals and Sunrisers Eastern Cape clash at Boland Park in Paarl.
There will be as many as 10 double-headers played in the league stage. Meanwhile, former South African skipper Graeme Smith who is also the league commissioner of SA20 spoke ahead of the new season. He said that the new season has been very meticulously planned so that even school kids can enjoy the matches on their off days.
“Season 4 of Betway SA20 will be unique. We've carefully planned the fixtures to make the most of the festive season and school holidays, we want SA20 to be a part of the holiday season festivities in our once-off window for this year" League Commissioner, Graeme Smith said.
“With the early part of the fixtures weighted towards our coastal venues, holidaymakers from around the country will have a fantastic entertainment option fit for the entire family. We're also excited to host New Year's Eve and New Year's Day fixtures for the first time; we can’t wait to be a part of the New Year’s celebrations with the fans" Smith added further.

SA20 2025-26 Final On January 25
The final will be held on January 25. The T20 World Cup 2026 will start shortly after the end of the fourth season of SA20. The T20 World Cup will be played in India and Sri Lanka next year.
Ahead of the final, Qualifier 1 is scheduled for 21 January, the Eliminator on 22 January and Qualifier 2 on 23 January. Venues for the Final and the Playoffs will be announced later.
