MS Dhoni is all set to make a comeback to competitive cricket in IPL 2025. He will be leading the five-time IPL champions Chennai Super Kings in the 17th season of the Indian Premier League.
MS Dhoni and Sanju Samson will both face each other when CSK plays the Rajasthan Royals in IPL 2025. The IPL 2025 schedule was announced last week. The Royals are all set to play CSK twice this season. They first play a game in Guwahati on March 30 followed by a game in Chennai on May 12 in Chennai.
Meanwhile both Dhoni and Sanju attended an event together where the Rajasthan Royals skipper had his fanboy moment on MS Dhoni. He spoke about how he adored his as a player and that he wants to play a little more in every IPL season. Samson was recalling an anecdote shared by Dhoni, in which the former India captain had spoken about the phrase "thoda aur" when buying vegetables. He connected that to watching him play a little longer in the IPL.
"When MS Dhoni comes to play the IPL, people keep talking about 'when is he retiring?' I keep telling myself 'thoda aur bhaiya, thoda aur (please, play a little more).' That's the example I had in my mind. Of course, our Indian mentality is to get thoda aur. I also agree with that," Samson said.
