Indian all-rounder Hardik Pandya is a fitness freak and he leaves no stone unturned to follow a fit and healthy life. He has worked very hard on his fitness since his lower-back injury that kept him out for a long time.

The injury was so serious that it prevented him from bowling for nearly a year. It also affected his lifestyle and his performances for the Indian team. The all-rounder was highly criticised for being injury-prone for a big part of his career.

Hardik Pandya had one massive back injury after the 2018 Asia Cup. He then picked up an ankle injury during the 2023 ODI World Cup at home, which kept him out of the game for a fair bit as well.

Hardik Pandya Reveals His Detailed Diet Plan

He is currently away from the game, with India having played Test cricket in the last two months. He was last seen playing in the IPL and since then has been enjoying his break. In a recent video on his Instagram handle, he has revealed his diet plan that he has been following for some length of time and one that has allowed him to follow a balanced life.

He said he starts his day with 500ml of water every day. For breakfast, he has a breakfast smoothie containing 650 calories and 30g of protein after gym.

"For my breakfast smoothie, I like to have sunflower seeds, oats, a banana and avocado, almonds and almond milk, and that's a perfect breakfast for me," he revealed.

He then briefed his fans about what he has for lunch on a regular basis. Pandya said that he takes an apple cider vinegar supplement mixed in water to keep his weight in check and manage his hunger.

"This helps control your cravings. As an athlete, I always count my calories," he added.

The Indian all-rounder said that he has loves his Indian food and favours having jeera rice, palak, and daal for lunch. He further said that the luch he has contains 550 calories and 24g of protein.

Hardik then moved quickly to talking about what he has in the evening. He said that he loves having oatmeal in the evening, which is full of nutrition.

“Evening mein after practice, I like my oatmeal (600 calories and 28g protein)” he elaborated.

Pandya Reveals His Dinner Plans

Finally, he spoke about what he has for dinner and how he balances it out by having his supplement 30 minutes before dinner.

“Evening mein after practice, I like my oatmeal (600 calories and 28g protein). Dinner ke 30 minutes pehle, I have my ACV. For dinner, I have an Asian green bowl with tofu and rice. It’s a balanced meal again,” he said, adding that it totals around 530 calories and 24g protein.

Hardik Pandya has a total intake of 2330 calories and 106g protein throughout the day on the basis of what he eats.

“Raat ko I read, spend some time with my family, and chalo, good night,” concluded Pandya.
