Brad Hogg recently visited Delhi, India, to provide commentary for the ECLT10 (Entertainers Cricket League) alongside a Virat Kohli doppelganger. During this visit, he posted a video on X (formerly Twitter) that mocked Mohammed Rizwan. This prompted a backlash from Pakistan fans, who labelled Hogg's behavior as "pathetic."
In the video, the Kohli impersonator wore lip shades similar to those of Mohammed Rizwan and joked that "Virat Kohli equals Mohammed Rizwan." The clip also featured Hogg and the impersonator making fun of Rizwan's unique way of speaking English and his communication skills.

During an interview, Hogg asked the impersonator, "What do you think about Virat Kohli?" The impersonator responded, "I and Virat are alike. He drinks water, I drink water. He eats food, I eat food. We are both the same; there is no difference." He also mimicked one of Rizwan's popular sayings, "Ya win hai, learn," when discussing Pakistan's strategy.
Hogg then jokingly praised Rizwan's English proficiency, to which the impersonator replied, "Yes, everyone in Pakistan says my English is very good."

This entire act triggered outrage among Pakistani fans, who criticized Hogg on Twitter. One fan referred to the former World Cup winner as a "failed Australian cricketer" and expressed disbelief that an ex-Australian player would mock the Pakistani captain's English, especially since Hogg's native language is not English.
Many expressed that Brad Hogg had crossed a line by mocking Mohammed Rizwan, questioning his ethics, and stating that such behavior is unacceptable.
Meanwhile, Pakistan is having a tough time on their New Zealand tour, already down 2-0, and missing senior players like Mohammad Rizwan and Babar Azam. However, both will join the squad for the ODI tour in New Zealand. Take a look at the scorecard of the 2nd T20I match between New Zealand and Pakistan
